Having an ambition to start selling online is one thing, but doing it is quite a challenge for most people. Often, we find that a site is built first before thinking too much about brand or marketing. In this case, we were able to get involved right up-front to develop a coherent offering.
Passion to succeed
Anastasia came to us with a strong desire to have her own online store. She had heard of drop shipping and thought that would be a good way to go, but she wasn’t too sure of what products to sell. We helped her to focus on personalised gifts and find suppliers. We then helped her to create a brand around her own likes and dislikes and this lead to the strap line – I only Sell What I love – as she was very keen to only sell the best.
Once we had all that done we built the store on the Shopify platform, tested it and launched it, just in time for Xmas. As we went along, Anastasia had a big input to the design and the look and feel of the site, and we trained her on how to manage the store so she would be self-reliant going forward.
We then helped Anastasia with her marketing, setting up pay-per-click advertising and analytics so that we could help her to work towards the best returns from all of her online promotional spend.
